As Art by Bridget Mary flourishes, Bridget Mackowiak remains devoted to pushing boundaries. She resides on picturesque Lake Erie in Dunkirk, NY, alongside her husband and muse, Matthew Carman, and two dogs: Dirty and Rufus. Her family's heritage, deeply rooted in the area for many generations, has instilled a sense of familial closeness, being the youngest of four children.
Her interest in creating digital content started way before she entered art school in the early 2010s. In grade school she would create videos with her friends and in high school she fell in love with photoshop. Her creative roots rooted in early childhood.
In high school, she explored mediums like clay, acrylics, and photography. Continuing her education at SUNY Fredonia, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts and New Media, with a concentration in Video Art and a personal focus for mastering Photoshop and Final Cut.
After her undergrad, Bridget pursued a Master's in Pastoral Ministry at Christ the King Seminary, eventually working as a Youth Minister before venturing into entrepreneurship.
